Flight Software Engineer III

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space travel and development. As a Senior Flight Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing flight software for our uncrewed spacecraft, the Blue Ring. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of satellite systems and enable Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to establish requirements, direct team tasks, and create and evaluate real-time software using C/C++ techniques.
- Design and develop flight software for the Blue Ring spacecraft, ensuring the effective development and operation of multiple satellites.
- Guide and inspire fellow software team members to achieve exceptional results.
- B.S. degree in computer, aerospace, or electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded avionics software development and testing, ideally for aerospace or similar critical systems.
- Strong communication skills, familiarity with taking software from concept to delivered product, and experience with Agile software development processes.
- Competitive compensation package, including a base salary and discretionary bonus.
