About the Role

Cortica is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join its multi-disciplinary team in providing care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote independence in daily living activities through problem-solving and adaptation suggestions.
  • Observe and suggest positioning techniques to enhance educational participation and maximize function.
  • Consult and assist staff through information sharing at team meetings.
  • Utilize task analysis to suggest techniques for feeding and daily living activities.
  • Implement individualized therapeutic programs prescribed by occupational therapists.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to plan and implement effective client programs.
  • Assist occupational therapists in determining goal progress and formulating new goals.
Requirements
  • Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
  • 1-year experience in pediatrics or autism.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made.
  • Skilled in using software and systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements, and referral bonuses.

The base pay range for this opening is $33.90 to $42.38, with compensation adjusted based on skill level, experience, education, and location.
