Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Alltown Fresh. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized dish station, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Assist in food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Ensure the timely and efficient cleaning of dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Participate in daily cleaning assignments, including trash removal and recycling.
  • Collaborate with our Chef and Line Cooks to create a warm and welcoming dining experience for our guests.
  • Assist with food deliveries, including unloading and stocking inventory.
  • Understand and follow safe food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or management team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Valid driver's license (for catering deliveries).
