Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Alltown Fresh. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized dish station, adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Assist in food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including dishwashing, trash removal, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with our Chef and Line Cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of catering orders, requiring a valid driver's license.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a convenience store or food service setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on food safety and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
