Job Description

Lawhorn CPA Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled Virtual Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-client environment. You will be proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You will prepare accurate and timely financial reports, perform regular reconciliations, and assist clients in developing budgets and forecasts. Additionally, you will manage all back-office accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for clients.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist clients in developing budgets and forecasts to support their financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax filings and audits.
