  • Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School Year
About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide assessments, evaluations, and support services for students in the Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology and be certified or licensed in Tennessee (or able to obtain certification). Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school setting, is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Develop comprehensive reports and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input
  • Offer consultative support for students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Active certification or licensure in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments and report writing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working remotely with technology platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and specialists

The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on national averages for School Psychologists in the United States. However, actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
