Core Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.

  • Documentation Updates: Provide updated records to the foreman as needed.
  • Schedule Assessment: Review and report on the two-week look-ahead schedule to department leadership.
  • Progress Tracking: Document job progress through photographic evidence.
  • CAD Coordination: Liaise with the CAD department to address any issues with the general contractor.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend weekly meetings and site inspections.
  • Permit Management: Acquire all necessary permits to ensure project compliance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain approved submittal records for the foreman.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Construction ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint/Spectrum).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials estimating for HVAC commercial projects.
  • Participation in pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs as required.
  • Proficient budgeting skills for commercial/industrial HVAC projects valued at $5MM and above.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities to work with Project Managers and vendors.
  • Technical skills in reading schematics and blueprints, managing Excel spreadsheets, and coordinating project pricing and scheduling.
  • Clear and effective reporting skills.
Knowledge Requirements:
  • Understanding of HVAC systems, including VRF, VAV, split systems, packaged units, DDC, controls, DOAS, ERVs, kitchen hoods, and hot/chilled water systems.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
