The On Call Banquet Server will collaborate closely with the Sales and Events Coordinator to ensure efficient and precise food service during designated banquets, all while delivering a level of hospitality that surpasses guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates exceptional guest service and fosters an environment that aligns with the Red Lion Inn's mission.
- Accountable for the timely preparation of all banquet events.
- Handles the disassembly and proper storage of banquet equipment.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of function areas.
- Ensures prompt replenishment of buffet items during all banquet events.
- Upholds a high standard of cleanliness and adheres to sanitary practices.
- Responsible for serving food and beverages in accordance with the directives of the Director of Restaurants to guarantee consistency, timeliness, and optimal temperature of all offerings.
- Replenishes beverages as required.
- Efficiently clears dishes as guests finish each course or meal segment.
- Communicates vital information regarding orders, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Proactively anticipates guests' needs and exceeds service expectations.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- ServSafe Certification
- TIPS Certification
- Allergen Awareness Certification

- Exceptional attention to detail.
