About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Department Manager to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Lead staff training, quality control, and in-servicing to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Coordinate and ensure the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work.
  • Conduct regular site tours to assess work quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Act as liaison between building occupants, administrators, and HCSG staff, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years' experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision desired.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
