Job Title: Construction Materials Field Testing Technician/Inspector

Patriot Engineering & Environmental, Inc is a leading engineering firm providing geotechnical, environmental, and construction material testing services and consultation to commercial, industrial, and governmental clients.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Field Testing Technician/Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing field tests and inspections in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas, documenting and reporting test results, and collaborating with our team to ensure high-quality services.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of field tests and inspections for construction materials
  • Document and report test results using MS Excel
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality services
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's Degrees highly valued
  • Experience valuable, but not necessary
  • Top $$ Paid for Experienced and Certified Technicians

Reliability is a requirement for this position. You will be working outside in the elements and may be required to lift over 50 pounds. We have a flexible schedule, but we are seeking employees willing to work 5-6 days per week with overtime as needed.

We pay travel time to and from each project in addition to your on-site hourly pay. We also have mileage reimbursement based on the distance from the office to the project site.

We will teach you what you need to know to succeed in this role. This position is heavily based on certifications for field work, as opposed to a degree that directly applies to the position.
