Job Title: Regional Maintenance Planner and Scheduler

Job Summary

The Regional Maintenance Planner and Scheduler is a critical role within the Maintenance organization that manages, creates, updates, and maintains the Maintenance schedule and plan for general Maintenance and Turnarounds at several locations. This role also includes supervising certain aspects of the turnarounds and maintenance teams to execute the schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and document work order steps with resources, tools, and materials to execute maintenance scope of work safely and effectively.
  • Plan and direct employee schedules to provide on-time completion of work.
  • Facilitate maintenance productivity (ability to schedule effectively, quality of workmanship, utilization of labor, materials, and services) to ensure safe and quality work execution through clear Work Order development.
  • Utilize current knowledge/documentation and improve documentation for future use.
Requirements
  • Vocation or Trade School diploma preferred.
  • 10+ years working as a maintenance mechanic or IE in an industrial production facility.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time supporting and supervising turnarounds at various sites managed.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Site safety policies, procedures, and training as required.
  • Knowledge of and experience with other software tools as appropriate; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of production process (chemicals, hazards, and unit operations).
  • Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance techniques (examples- steam trap testing, oil analysis, etc.).
  • Knowledge of equipment hazards, failure modes, and the complexity of various maintenance restoration techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Maintenance Work Management Process (WMP) and its impact upon asset reliability.
  • Knowledge of and experience with and have ability to access Maintenance policies, procedures, and maintenance training as required.
  • Understanding of Management of Change Technology (MOC-T) and Management of Change of Facilities (MOC-F) and how they relate to the Planning process.
