Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the complete recruitment lifecycle, which includes:
  • Utilizing innovative sourcing techniques to attract and recommend candidates for various roles, including administrative, professional, clinical, and other healthcare positions.
  • Informing potential candidates about career opportunities and the advantages of working with SEARHC and the surrounding communities.

Essential Functions

Your role will involve:
  • Designing and executing targeted recruitment, advertising, and marketing strategies to identify and refer qualified candidates for all open positions.
  • Creating a strategic plan to source, recruit, screen, and interview both active job seekers and passive candidates for challenging roles.
  • Promoting SEARHC to potential applicants and networking with other institutions, universities, and professional organizations.
  • Engaging with candidates, conducting qualification assessments, addressing inquiries, and guiding them through the selection process.
  • Collaborating with the Recruitment team and other staff to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Overseeing Recruitment Coordinators to ensure a streamlined recruitment process that adheres to company policies.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may substitute for educational qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
  • A minimum of ten years of applicable industry experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHCR) from the National Association for Health Care Recruitment (NAHCR) and/or Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter (ACIR).

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have:
  • At least five years of recruiting experience, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with technology-driven recruiting tools, including social media platforms, talent engagement tools, and virtual career fairs.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of:
  • Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Public Law as it pertains to recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Recruiting, staffing, marketing, and advertising methodologies.

Competencies

Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in:
  • Team collaboration and relationship building across all organizational levels.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Managing multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines.

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel may be necessary.
