At Truist Financial Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join our team as a Part-Time Head of Finance.

This is a unique opportunity to lead our financial analysis and performance reporting, driving strategic execution and optimizing balance sheet and capital management.

You will collaborate with the Finance division to ensure the integrity of our financials and maintain sound controls and procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling, reviewing, and submitting timely and accurate monthly financial reports;
  • Developing and performing testing of economic models;
  • Maintaining necessary documentation of source data and ensuring adequate support of data integrity;
  • Providing thought leadership and guidance to junior teammates on financial close, forecasting, and planning processes;
  • Collaborating with Senior Financial Officer (SFO) and line of business (LOB) partners to integrate business initiatives into forecast and Plan.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and related training;
  • Eight years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interpret and communicate financial analysis to business partners;
  • High proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products;
  • Financial Modeling experience;
  • Supervisory experience, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst;
  • Master's degree or MBA in a specific financial services or specialized industry;
  • Proficient in Essbase/Hyperion, EPM/BPC, or other enterprise accounting software.
