Job Summary

As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer, you will play a critical role in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will be responsible for facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the smuggling of goods and individuals into the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations
  • Facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel
  • Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances
  • Work with other law enforcement agencies to prevent and investigate smuggling and other crimes

Requirements
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a background investigation and polygraph examination
  • Complete a 101-day training program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center
