Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Over 12 years of experience in commercial construction within a General Contracting environment
- At least 5 years in an Executive, VP, or Director role with a reputable construction firm
- Established relationships with subcontractors in the Bay Area
- Proficient in interpreting and analyzing financial documents, including P&L statements and key performance indicators
- In-depth understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Skilled in construction management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management tools (like Procore), Estimating software (such as Bluebeam), and scheduling applications (like MS Project)
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs operational activities, ensuring productivity, cost-effectiveness, quality, and safety in alignment with company policies while delivering comprehensive concrete solutions across specified regions to meet corporate goals.
- Guides and supervises team members, encouraging innovation and independence.
- Assists in the formulation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Guarantees ethical conduct in business operations and timely, accurate reporting.
- Provides strategic guidance to essential personnel, reviewing performance metrics, costs, and operational efficiency to ensure progress towards objectives.
- Develops annual budgets and financial forecasts as necessary.
- Manages the strategic marketing initiatives for assigned regions to achieve growth targets.
- Oversees the planning, budgeting, and execution of ongoing projects and preconstruction activities.
- Cultivates and maintains client relationships to enhance the company's project acquisition capabilities, mitigate risks, and promote operational efficiency.
- Engages in special projects and fulfills additional responsibilities as required to support the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $200,000 - $500,000 annually
- Performance-based bonus potential (up to 100% of salary)
