Mechanical Designer

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for designing and estimating projects, interacting with clients to understand their needs, and analyzing project plans to determine accurate cost estimates. This role requires strong analytical and mathematical skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in MEP, HVAC, or Commercial projects and proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and estimate projects
- Interact with clients to understand their needs
- Analyze project plans to determine accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with architects, subs, and other parties to gather necessary information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a designer in the construction industry
- Background in MEP, HVAC, or Commercial projects
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
