We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering to join our faculty at Western New England University. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in Mechatronics, Automation, Controls, or Robotics. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in Mechanical Engineering, pursuing scholarly and research activities, and supporting our innovative freshman engineering program.

Our Mechanical Engineering program is a vibrant and industrially relevant program that emphasizes research and design. We have an active Master of Science program and a PhD program, and we maintain strong relationships with regional and national industries and corporations. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of our program.
