Job Title: Medical Assistant Supervisor

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a dynamic and growing organization serving the residents of various counties. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Supervisor to join our team at our White Center Medical Clinic.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant Supervisor is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the performance of medical assistants, ensuring quality patient care, and managing clinical operations. This role requires strong leadership, supervisory, and training skills, with a strong clinical background in ambulatory care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance of medical assistants, ensuring effective and efficient patient care.
  • Assist with patient flow issues, perform procedures as needed, and ensure all medical assistants complete clinical quality measures.
  • Evaluate medical assistant performance, provide feedback, and train new staff members.
  • Ensure all performance measures are met, including clinical quality measures, provider productivity, and resource management.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to the clinical care team personnel.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and training skills with a strong clinical background in ambulatory care.
  • Active participation in staff meetings and effective interaction with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexibility with clinic hours and willingness to take on new projects.
  • Experience working with multicultural/diverse populations and English/Spanish language proficiency.
  • Education Requirements: Must have graduated from an accredited program with an active MA-C license in the State of Washington or be licensed as an LPN in the State of Washington.
