Job Title: Medical Assistant Supervisor

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of medical assistants, ensuring effective and efficient patient care, and providing clinical and administrative supervision to the clinical care team.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance of medical assistants to ensure quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
  • Assist with patient flow issues and ensure that all patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Perform procedures as needed and ensure that all medical assistants are completing every clinical quality measure for all patients.
  • Assist with patient assessments and administrative duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide the best outcomes for our patients.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with a strong clinical background in ambulatory care.
  • Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Anticipate the needs of patients and providers according to clinical presentation.
  • Flexibility with clinic hours.
  • Willingness to take on new projects.
  • Experience working with multicultural/diverse populations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
