JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a detail-oriented PR Analytics Coordinator to enhance our reporting capabilities. This position plays a vital role in delivering thorough media coverage analysis for prominent clients across various platforms, including print, digital, and broadcast. The successful candidate will be tasked with collecting, interpreting, and presenting data in structured weekly reports that are shared with clients, often including their senior management. These reports must emphasize concise metrics, data narratives, significant insights, and performance evaluations, ensuring that the information provided is clear, actionable, and aligned with the strategic objectives of our clients. Proficiency in Spanish is essential. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, particularly with pivot tables and graphical representations, are required. Familiarity with Canva and Google Slides for visual presentations is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Media Coverage Analysis: Gather, assess, and report on media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast channels for high-profile clients using tools such as Muck Rack, Google, Google Alerts, and Bing. Ensure precision and thoroughness in all reports.
  • Weekly Reporting: Generate end-of-week reports that highlight key metrics, significant findings, and KPIs utilizing Google Sheets. These reports will be presented directly to clients, including their executive teams, and must be organized and communicated in a clear, actionable, and easily digestible format.
  • Data Interpretation: Develop charts, graphs, pivot tables, and other analytical visual aids to interpret and present data effectively. Identify trends, insights, and key takeaways to guide strategy and client interactions.
  • Content Development: Craft clear and concise summaries of media coverage, key insights, and campaign performance. Ensure all written content is accurate, insightful, and meets client expectations.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with account teams to ensure reporting aligns with client objectives and delivers actionable insights. Communicate findings effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Visual Reporting: Utilize Canva or similar tools to create visually engaging presentations that encapsulate reporting data. Ensure all visual content adheres to brand standards and meets client requirements.
  • Process Enhancement: Regularly document existing reporting practices and processes, then review and refine them to improve efficiency and accuracy. Stay informed on best practices in PR reporting and data analysis to continuously enhance and adapt reporting methodologies. Ensure that any changes to processes are well-documented and communicated effectively.
  • Time Management: Diligently track time on a daily basis to ensure effective project management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Spanish Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to review, analyze, and interpret media and content in both languages.
  • Spreadsheet Proficiency: Expertise in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, with a strong understanding of pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Reporting Experience: Background in media reporting using platforms such as Muck Rack, Google, Google Alerts, and Bing, with a solid ability to compile and analyze data across various media types.
  • Detail Orientation: Highly meticulous and detail-focused, ensuring accuracy in all reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights based on reporting.
  • Writing Proficiency: Strong writing, editing, organization, and proofreading skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a strong capacity to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines while focusing on key objectives.
  • Software Skills: Required proficiency in Muck Rack, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to excel both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Industry Acumen: Commitment to understanding the client's industry, terminology, and competitive landscape.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field, with at least one year of agency experience, including internships.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work, with occasional standing.
  • Work Schedule: Standard work hours typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential evening and weekend availability as needed.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. as necessary.
  • Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands and fingers for computer tasks.
  • Sensory Function: Daily use of vision and auditory senses, including exposure to blue light from screens.
  • Work Environment: Primarily indoors in a controlled setting, with occasional travel and the ability to work on-site for client meetings and events as necessary.
  • Communication: Daily interaction with colleagues is essential to the role.
  • Cognitive Demands: Ability to maintain logical reasoning and cognitive thinking throughout tasks and responsibilities.
