Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

A leading commercial construction firm is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of commercial construction projects in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, and forecasts, and track project expenses to ensure adherence to financial goals.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to procure materials and services necessary for project completion.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues.
  • Collaborate with the project team to maintain clear communication and foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any onsite challenges.
  • Assist in the review and interpretation of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Support the coordination of inspections, permits, and approvals required for project completion.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, change orders, and other relevant records.
  • Contribute to project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and resolutions as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually enhance project management processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction project management or related role.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within established timelines and budgets.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Experience working in or familiarity with local construction practices and regulations is preferred.
Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 annually. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
