Mammography Technologist Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using advanced imaging equipment.
  • Assist patients with transportation and positioning for exams.
  • Process and store images, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements:
  • Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Mammography Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
  • Proof of continuing education and adherence to infection control protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of prior mammography experience, preferably within the last three years.
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Science or related field.
