Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Vancouver, Washington.
Job Summary:To provide high-quality diagnostic Mammography services, including clerical duties as required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform screening and diagnostic procedures, utilizing knowledge and skills to ensure accurate and efficient results.
- Image acquisition and processing, as well as patient transport and file work.
- Quality control functions, equipment troubleshooting, and physician/staff communication.
- Restocking supplies, cleaning, and participating in on-call or standby schedules as required.
- Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Mammography Technologist required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.
- Proof of continuing education and adherence to KPNW's Infection Control policies and procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of prior Mammography Tech work experience, preferably within the last 3 years.
- Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, and attention to detail.
- Associates degree in Radiologic Science or a related field.
Notes:
- Covering Cascade Park, Salmon Creek, LongView Kelso Medical Offices, and/or any site in the North Service Area.
- WA state On-Call position servicing the North Service Area.
