Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) with experience in Subacute care to become a valuable member of our team at Longwood Manor Convalescent Hospital.

Work Schedule:
Full-time on a 4/2 rotation

Shift Availability:
Evening or Night Shifts Only

Qualifications:
  • Current CNA certification with completion of an accredited CNA training program
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Subacute care
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, including any necessary boosters
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Good physical condition to assist with lifting and moving patients, and to stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Demonstrated compassion for residents and their families

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering personal care to residents under the guidance of a licensed nurse
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, and recreational outings
  • Utilizing organizational skills to ensure the unit operates efficiently
  • Responding to call lights to assess and fulfill resident needs
  • Employing proper body mechanics when necessary
  • Conducting patient rounds and documenting any changes in condition
  • Providing companionship and high-quality care to residents
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents
  • Prioritizing resident activities based on their current care requirements
  • Safely lifting and transitioning residents between wheelchairs, beds, and chairs
  • Escorting residents to dining areas for meals and activities
  • Exhibiting punctuality and professionalism at all times
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Compensation:
$20 to $23 per hour

Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, scheduled work shifts, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
