Core Responsibilities:
As a Parking Services Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at our parking facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining punctuality and professionalism by being present for every scheduled shift, dressed in the appropriate uniform.
  • Counting the cash drawer at the start of each shift to confirm the initial balance.
  • Handling cash transactions securely, issuing receipts or tickets for each payment.
  • Calculating fees based on parking tickets and providing accurate change to customers.
  • Operating the cash register to process transactions efficiently.
  • Providing information and directions to customers regarding parking services and local attractions.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints with a focus on satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area and surrounding environment.
  • Conducting regular inventory checks of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Compiling daily transaction reports and reconciling cash at the end of shifts.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A minimum of less than high school education or equivalent experience.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.
  • Licensing: A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Capability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems in a standard environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, use hands, and maintain focus on tasks; must be able to perform duties in a busy environment.
