Role: Marketing/Admissions Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Design and execute marketing initiatives to elevate the profile of Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center within the community.
- Produce promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital content to showcase the facility's offerings.
- Establish and nurture relationships with referral partners, including healthcare providers and local organizations.
- Coordinate and engage in community events and health fairs to boost the facility's presence.
- Management of Admissions Procedures:
- Oversee the admissions journey from initial contact to residency, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for prospective residents and their families.
- Conduct tours of the facility, providing comprehensive information about services and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to guarantee timely and accurate processing of admission documentation.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to prepare for new resident arrivals.
- Data Oversight and Analysis:
- Maintain precise records of inquiries, tours, admissions, and marketing efforts.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies, occupancy statistics, and other essential metrics.
- Provide ongoing updates and insights to the leadership team regarding marketing and admissions activities.
- Exceptional Customer Service:
- Deliver outstanding support to prospective residents and their families throughout the admissions process.
- Promptly address any concerns to ensure a positive experience for all involved.
- Follow up with recent admissions and referral sources to strengthen relationships and gather valuable feedback.
- Collaboration and Team Engagement:
- Work in partnership with the Regional Operations and Nursing Teams to align with facility objectives and address operational needs.
- Assist facility staff with marketing-related projects and initiatives as required.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in marketing, sales, or admissions, ideally within a healthcare or long-term care environment.
- A proven history of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and managing admissions processes.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems or marketing software.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make informed decisions based on metrics.
- State Requirements:
- Understanding of state regulations and industry standards relevant to nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
- Capability to obtain any necessary state-specific certifications or licenses.
