Position Overview:
The Health Aide will deliver essential patient support and assist clients in enhancing their daily living skills. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and/or collect samples as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing clients.
- Facilitate recreational and social activities for clients.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- Assist clients who require help with feeding.
- Observe and document patient behaviors, data, and activities.
- Prepare clients for medical examinations or treatments.
- Support clients with mobility, including walking and transferring in and out of bed.
- Transport clients to treatment areas using appropriate equipment.
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and proficiency in the role.
Please note: This position may close once a sufficient pool of qualified applicants has been established.
Compliance Requirement: A national and state background check is mandatory for this position.
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or GED.
