- Order office and medical supplies, adhering to cost containment methods.
- Perform various clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for exams.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.
- Current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA).
- CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines.
Work Environment
This role is based in our office setting, with a mix of sitting and standing throughout the day. Minimal lifting is required, with occasional lifting for orthopedics, geriatrics, and internal medicine patients.
