Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Hendersonville. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional care to patients, assist with activities of daily living, and support the Registered Nurse in maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care and emotional support
  • Provide general nursing care, including positioning patients, lifting and turning patients, applying/utilizing special equipment, assisting in use of bedpan, commode, and ambulating patients
  • Promptly report any changes in patient status to the RN in a timely manner
  • Document provided care clearly and concisely on the daily care record
  • Monitor and accurately record patient intake and output in a timely fashion and in accordance with hospital policy and physician order
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current license as Nurse Assistant with the NC Board of Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, retirement plan, and career development opportunities.

This full-time position is located at AdventHealth Hendersonville, 101 Hospital Dr, Columbus, NC 28722. Schedule: 1-Day Shift.
