At New York Life Insurance Co, we're seeking a highly skilled Corporate Vice President to lead our actuarial analytics and modeling efforts. As a key member of our Institutional Life team, you'll be responsible for overseeing financial analytics, Prophet model architecture, and regulatory compliance for our BOLI and COLI businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial analytics strategies to support new business and inforce management
  • Manage Prophet model architecture and updates to ensure accuracy and timeliness of Institutional Life modeling capabilities
  • Lead cross-functional financial analyses to evaluate regulatory requirements and optimize inforce economics
  • Support dynamic customized case pricing requests to provide tailored design solutions for institutional clients
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in the regulatory environment that may impact product development and design decisions
Requirements:
  • FSA with Prophet model experience; prior pricing experience a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deal with shifting priorities in tight timelines
  • Strong people management and project management skills
  • Ability to flourish under ambiguity and learn on-the-job with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the box and open-mindedness to innovative and creative solutions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and business partnering skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizations and influence decision-making
