Job Summary

Responsibilities
  1. Assist healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
  2. Observe, collect, and document patient information, and report significant changes to healthcare providers.
  3. Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation.
  4. Provide indirect care to patients and assigned areas, including cleaning, restocking supplies, and transporting patients and supplies.
  5. Reinforce teaching given to patients by healthcare providers, and document patient understanding of instructions.
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Listing as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services
  • Ability to develop basic computer skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language
