**Job Purpose**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our surgical products division. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence in the surgical products industry.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Understand customer needs in surgery and biomaterials
  • Acquire new customers for medmix Surgery products by utilizing market intelligence data and your network
  • Expand and maintain business relationships with potential new customers to achieve sustainable revenue growth
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential competitors
  • Develop strategic business plans and sales strategies to achieve growth objectives
  • Translate a sales strategy into a KPI-driven action plan and execute it
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the Surgical healthcare sector
  • Drive sales of surgical products by understanding customer needs and promoting our product portfolio effectively
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
  • Collaborate with the product development team to introduce new surgical products to the market
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and regulatory affairs, to achieve business objectives

**Qualifications**

**Desired Experience**

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in life sciences, engineering, business, or a related field. An MBA is preferred
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

**Skills and Competencies**

  • Knowledge of surgical and/or medical device industry, preferably focused on biomaterials, bone graft substitutes, or sealants
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a proven track record of success in business development and sales within the medical devices or healthcare industry, particularly in surgical products
  • Commercial understanding and sales experience in B2B
  • Strong experience in international business relationships
  • Experience in multicultural matrix team structures and the ability to act as a team player
  • A self-driven, commercial, and solution-oriented mindset will support the success of the candidate
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen
