Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at an Outpatient Clinic in Flowery Branch, Georgia.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic care to patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses
  • Assess and care for patients requiring special precautions such as isolation
  • Insert and maintain peripheral lines, and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenously)
  • Verify physician orders and complete accurate documentation of care
  • Perform phlebotomy and bedside testing, and provide psychological support to patients as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting
  • Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred
