**Role Overview:**

The State of Florida is seeking a skilled Disability Support Coordinator to join our team. As a Disability Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating care and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assists professionals in implementing prescribed treatment and rehabilitation programs.
  • Observes residents and identifies and documents changes and/or unusual events which could result in safety and well-being issues.
  • Maintains and updates resident records and charts.

**Requirements:**

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds, pull, squat, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • One year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a psychiatric care or mental health setting.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
