Position Overview

The VP of Operations will develop, refine, and implement operational strategy including service, quality management, customer outreach, processes, workflows, communications, and procedures. The VP of Operations works closely with senior management team to create, implement, and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Program Operations and customer satisfaction and success.
  • Develop and implement strategies, procedures and business plans needed to enhance company growth.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on all matters related to business operations.
  • Track and report on operating results to ensure consistent growth and progress towards achieving divisional goals.
  • Represent the company in meetings with key clients, investors, regulatory agencies, or other external parties.
  • Responsible for aligning departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Develop policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
  • Provide Business Analytics for opportunities, work products and deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand Teaming Relationships for company services.
  • Identify opportunities on existing contracts and task orders and coordinate pricing.
  • Manage and support forecast of activities to expand business base in assigned areas.
  • Create strategy to further expand organic growth business or functional area capabilities.
  • Identify support for corporate proposal development efforts and past performance.
  • Serve as an integral part and driver of the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting of business requirements and decision-making process.
  • Ensure that risk is effectively addressed in all aspects of the business.
  • Lead EPG meetings as part of company's ISO and CMMI policies, standards, and procedures review.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 10+ years executive level operational experience in GOVCON sector.
  • Background and knowledge of IT Solutions and capabilities
  • Financial reporting capabilities including budgeting and cash flow management.
  • Proven record of profitable operations management
  • Firm understanding of managing Information Technology (IT) PMO's
  • Possess executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, ppt, project)
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ISO and CMMI policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Secret Level DoD Clearance with Top Secret Eligibility.
