Position Overview
An Associate Professor on the tenure track is being sought within the Division of Epidemiology and Clinical Research in the Department of Pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will collaborate with the Childhood Cancer Genomics Group, leveraging the extensive and expanding collection of genetic data related to childhood cancer.
This role will involve participation in both research and educational initiatives, as well as mentoring postdoctoral fellows and graduate students.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, with a proven track record in conducting both classical and genetic epidemiologic studies. A strong background in childhood cancer research, particularly in the epidemiology of childhood central nervous system tumors and the analysis of sex differences in childhood cancer risk and outcomes, is essential.
