Central Reform Congregation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childcare Educator to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified individual to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children and infants. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing games and recreational activities, encouraging emotional, social, and physical development, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care and attention to the needs of children, including dressing, feeding, and monitoring activities and playtime.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to promote fine and gross motor skills, emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Monitor and report any signs of emotional or developmental issues to parents or authorities as necessary.
  • Implement positive disciplinary measures to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  • Teach children healthy habits and personal hygiene practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities, meals, and medications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • At least one year of related experience required.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and parents.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing and frequent bending required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Rate: $16.00 to $18.50 depending on experience.
