Key Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with both new and existing clients. This role involves delivering high-quality service to internal and external clients through effective written and verbal communication. Key duties include:

  • Processing teller transactions accurately and efficiently while balancing cash.
  • Resolving basic service inquiries by leveraging a solid understanding of fundamental banking products and services, while directing more complex issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Possessing a strong grasp of platform and teller systems.
  • Proactively reaching out to clients to identify additional banking needs, thereby strengthening client relationships and achieving cross-sell objectives.
  • Acting as the primary contact for client problem resolution.
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, and completing necessary training as required for the role.

Essential Duties:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service when opening deposit accounts and performing account maintenance.
  • Accurately processing deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions, ensuring daily balancing of the teller cash drawer.
  • Following all relevant policies and procedures, including those related to security and compliance.
  • Answering basic inquiries regarding EagleBank's products and services and recognizing sales opportunities.
  • Ensuring proper completion of required reports and balancing of cash-related transactions.
  • Contributing to branch sales goals and participating in outbound sales activities.
  • Assisting with daily branch operations to ensure timely opening and closing.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly audit documentation.
  • Managing cash supplies and processing cash shipments as needed.
  • Performing dual control duties and assisting with customer inquiries and account research.
  • Mastering the use of TellerInsight, IBS, Deposit Origination, and SRM processing systems.
  • Completing required training in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in platform banking, account servicing, or equivalent internal banking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of platform and teller systems.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
  • Understanding of deposit products and services.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
