Job Summary

This is a full-time Clinical Nurse II position in the Labor and Delivery Unit at UNC Health Johnston. The successful candidate will provide competent clinical nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others.
  • Evaluate patient care and seek guidance as needed in revision of plan of care.
  • Implement care plans, utilizing healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead by example, promoting a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment.
  • Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
Work Details

This position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System. The standard hours per week are 36.00, and the salary range is $44.56 per hour (Hiring Range). The work assignment type is onsite, and the work schedule is day job.
