Dental Assistant Floater

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant Floater to join our team at APLA Health. As a Dental Assistant Floater, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide chair-side assistance to the Dentist during patient treatment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
- Welcome and greet every patient in the clinic, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
- Assist in language translation between doctor and patient, promoting effective communication and understanding.
- Maintain dental office cleanliness and asepsis, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling patient appointments and assisting with front office duties.
- Travel to different clinic sites as needed to support staff vacancies and shortages.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or training preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
