The Mohegan Tribal Government is seeking a skilled Child, Adolescent Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide medication evaluation and treatment, as well as counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating culturally appropriate treatment plans based on biopsychosocial evaluation and diagnostic assessment. You will also be responsible for providing parenting education and other prevention/educational programs. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent organizational skills, including the ability to make independent decisions based on protocol. Additionally, you should have experience working with adults and adolescents, providing counseling services to alcohol and drug-dependent clients, and planning and implementing prevention and educational programs. • Provide medication evaluation and treatment, as well as counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Create culturally appropriate treatment plans based on biopsychosocial evaluation and diagnostic assessment.
• Provide parenting education and other prevention/educational programs.
• Work effectively on a multidisciplinary team to achieve common goals.
• Make independent decisions based on protocol to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

**Requirements:**

• APRN license in the State of Connecticut and Federal DEA and CT Controlled Substance Registration.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the Human Services field working with adults and adolescents.
• Experience providing counseling services to alcohol and drug-dependent clients, including intervention and relapse prevention.
• Experience in planning and implementing prevention and educational programs.
