Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Stability Direct. This role is responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures, preparing patients for exams, and assisting radiologists in operating equipment.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in radiography and CT technology, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The job requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $135,000 annually, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CAT scan equipment
  • Prepare patients for exams, observing different requirements for each protocol
  • Assist radiologists during procedures as necessary
  • Maintain equipment quality assurance and calibration
  • Process images and print CDs when needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, such as quality assurance and customer service

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • A graduate degree in radiography or a related field
  • NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required
  • ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph certified (R)
  • Documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection
  • Ability to pass advanced CT examination/certification within 1 year from date of hire
