Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Account Strategist to join our team at Healthfirst. As a key member of our provider network management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive profitable growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusting and long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers, including senior leaders and physicians.
  • Lead the strategic planning and contracting process at the provider level and support the team in execution at the account level.
  • Drive profitable growth through the creation of customized winning solutions.
  • Negotiate provider agreements that support the achievement of Healthfirst strategic goals.
  • Translate strategic goals into provider-specific plans and activities.
  • Understand emerging trends, network/market opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Partner with providers as they evolve.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading a team through a matrixed environment.
  • Experience in provider network management and development, or project management experience in a managed healthcare setting.
  • Experience in negotiating different provider contract types.
  • Familiarity with various provider compensation methodologies.
  • Experience working with an executive suite.
  • Exposure to multiple functions, especially finance and business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Business and Health Services.
