Protection Specialist

Overview:
The Security Guard plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and protection of residents, staff, and property.
- Oversee security systems and protocols, implementing necessary changes as required.
- Professionally manage incoming communications and liaise with relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, monitor surveillance equipment, and investigate any reported incidents.
- Facilitate monthly safety drills, manage parking concerns, and coordinate staff schedules.
- Keep accurate attendance records, organize parking assignments, and comply with safety regulations.
- Be available for various shifts to fulfill departmental requirements.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, relevant security experience, and strong writing skills.
- Previous experience in staff scheduling and a dedication to exemplary customer service.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to perform tasks that involve lifting, kneeling, and prolonged standing.
Work Environment:
- Primarily an office setting with occasional outdoor responsibilities throughout the year.
- Includes seasonal tasks such as snow removal.
