About the Role

We are seeking a strategic Business Development Executive to drive sales growth in the Biotech market segment. As a key member of our Sales & Marketing team, you will develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify and win new customers and provide an elite customer experience by working cross-functionally with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and strategic relationship managers.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive sales growth in the Biotech market segment.
  • Drive overall execution of sales goals, including identifying and winning business with new customers and providing an elite customer experience by working cross-functionally with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and strategic relationship managers.
  • Work across our global network, supporting a harmonized customer experience.
  • Become an expert in the partner's pipeline and portfolio to proactively identify cross-divisional commercial strategies. Deliver tailored, competitive solutions to customer's distinct requirements.
  • Stay ahead of customer needs through understanding of their company's imperatives, including key operating cycles, budget cycle, strategic sourcing criteria, and business or technical processes.
  • Lead and manage sophisticated deal structuring and negotiation processes.
  • Coordinate and represent the business in senior-level executive and customer meetings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience with experience in multiple areas within pharma services.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling and handling complex deal structures.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully competing in a highly competitive sales environment.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Continuous improvement mentality with the ability to drive innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading within a matrix organization.
  • Self-motivated with a strong bias for action and results.
