Agricultural Economics and Marketing Research Assistant

This is a part-time, non-exempt position that will support established research projects within the College of Agriculture, Community, and Sciences. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Associate Research Director's research team to contribute to research projects focused on the marketing of various agricultural products.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with research activities by completing assigned tasks
- Conduct data collection, surveys, and data recording
- Assemble and maintain aquaculture systems, handle and feed animals, and perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.0 scale
- Ability to commit at least two hours twice a week
- Own transportation to location
- Interest in agriculture, fish farming, and sales of food products
- Computer literacy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team effort
- Initiative, resourcefulness, punctuality, and ability to work independently
