NESCO Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a prominent contractor. This position offers a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Compensation:
$25-30/hour (commensurate with experience) along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Overview:


The ideal candidate will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of heavy construction machinery, including rough terrain forklifts, industrial forklifts, and cranes.

The candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose issues in heavy machinery
  • Conduct maintenance and repair operations on a diverse fleet of heavy equipment
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities
  • Procure replacement parts as necessary
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in heavy equipment mechanics or a related discipline is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment is preferred
  • Capability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools and software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
