Wound Care Specialist

Central Baptist Village is a not-for-profit, faith-based community dedicated to providing exceptional care for older adults. As a Wound Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely implementation of treatment plans.
- Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of resident care plans and resident assessments.
- Contribute to an inclusive culture that thrives on teamwork and positive attitudes.
- Promote innovation and best practices in wound care management.
- RN licensure
- Compassionate and motivated about serving and celebrating seniors
- Ability to act with integrity and provide specialized care to residents with Alzheimer's & Dementia
- WCC certification preferred
- Ability to meet documentation requirements and maintain accurate records for MDS assessments and restorative nursing interventions
- Ability to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct restorative care services and programs
