Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and compliance of all personnel and visitors by implementing the policies and procedures of the designated property and its facilities.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with property staff and visitors through professional interactions; act as the primary contact and first responder for all individuals within the property.
- Address unusual occurrences, emergencies, and critical situations at the assigned location; manage incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, hazardous materials, and other urgent matters.
- Utilize conflict resolution techniques to manage confrontational situations; apply appropriate levels of force as necessary, including armed response, in accordance with established protocols; detain individuals violating rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all assigned security equipment, restraint tools, and protective devices required for daily operations.
- Control access to the property and its facilities through established entry procedures; direct individuals and vehicles; prevent unauthorized entry and protect physical assets from theft or damage.
- Conduct regular patrols to evaluate risk and security levels; identify unsafe conditions or hazards; inspect security devices and fire safety equipment for functionality; assess access points and secure areas for compliance.
- Oversee and maintain all surveillance and security systems; ensure operational efficiency of related equipment; initiate alarms and execute lockdown or evacuation procedures as necessary; coordinate with local emergency services.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, for daily public interactions; maintain professionalism and convey clear information to government agencies and representatives.
- Perform investigative actions regarding irregularities, suspicious activities, and incidents; interview individuals and gather evidence as needed; document all findings and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Experience - 2-3 years in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or a related field.
- Possession or ability to obtain a Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms (Preferred).
- Certification under Pennsylvania Act 235 (Preferred).
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Driving history free of moving violations and accidents within the last five years.
- Ability to maintain a driving record compliant with all local and state laws.
- Willingness to complete any required driver training and testing.
