Job Title: Network Support Technician II

GCI is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Technician II to join our team. As a Network Support Technician II, you will be responsible for providing technical support and customer education to customers via inbound calls, chat, in writing, instant messaging, or email in an efficient and professional timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and customer education to customers via inbound calls, chat, in writing, instant messaging, or email.
  • Follow established procedures, implement escalation process and event management by working directly with the GCI Account team, customers, and higher Network tier support as required.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends to provide expert-level support to customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service or call center environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and technical support principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in telecommunications, computer science, electronics, or relevant field.
  • Experience/knowledge of Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco certifications.
  • Telecommunications experience.
